Soothing blue crystals inspiration for a new talisman collection
•
This time of year, January & February, always feels weird to me, and that was before contending with a global pandemic. It's been difficult for me to find momentum and hop back on the productivity train.
To say I've been having a lot of resistance is an understatement. And I know I'm not alone in this. Many of us find ourselves living out our days like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.
However, I've found myself really lit up creatively. Lots of new ideas have been swirling and coalescing. Creativity is my healing balm.
I've taken some time to digest 2020 and feel out how I want to approach 2021. Last year it was during lockdown when I made a lot of crystal talismans.
This year, there won't be as many but I'm still excited to develop a few new collections for release throughout the year and add a few pieces to existing collections.
I have a winter collection that is almost ready and will be released in February. This week I started working on a spring collection.
The spring collection will feature lots of serene blue crystals.
I'm working with some incredible turquoise carved by Canadian Indigenous lapidary artist Jenny White. And carved crystals from Canadian lapidary artist Melissa Fenton, as well as some gorgeous stones ethically sourced from Mountain Aura Crystals and Coya Gems.
