Brigid - Crystal Wand

$328.00 CAD

One-of-a-Kind Crystal Ritual Wand Featuring Incredible Double Terminated Rutilated Quartz Set with Spessartine Garnet

Spessartine garnet sourced from Coya Gems in Peru.

This crystal wand was created by utilizing the Tiffany method, this is where molten metal is applied over copper directly onto the surface of the crystal. A patina is then applied to enhance the rustic appearance of the metal and give the piece an old-world look.

About

Brigid is a mythological Celtic goddess. She rules healing, poetry, and crafts. She is most commonly associated with Imbolc or Candlemas which is a holiday rooted in pagan tradition marking the halfway point of winter, which is a celebration of the return of the light. She is therefore associated with fire and the sun.

Crystal Lore

Rutilated quartz is quartz containing inclusions that in some instances appear to be tiny hairs, they can range in color from golden, to red, to green. Rutilated quartz gets energy moving. It’s a crystal of action and movement. It is thought to stabilize thoughts and emotions, bringing about clarity and focus. Rutilated quartz assists with self-reliance and gaining traction on one's life path. It is associated with the solar plexus chakra.

Spessartine garnet has strong ties to the sun. It infuses joy, optimism, and creativity into relationships and projects. Its regenerative energy makes it a powerful tool for manifestation practices and rituals.

Talisman Care

To ensure that your talisman lasts for years to come, avoid contact with water.

Do not use chemical polishes to polish your pieces as it can remove the patina that makes each piece so unique. A soft cotton cloth or jeweler's cloth is all that you need to gently polish the stones or metal, you can also use a bit of warm soapy water if necessary.

Place your piece in an airtight container or Ziploc bag when not in use.

Some clients like to cleanse and recharge their pieces energetically. Please use dry clearing methods such as sound (singing bowls, chimes, etc) or sacred smoke (incense, palo santo, cedar, etc).

To recharge set your piece on a windowsill overnight to soak up the light of the new or full moon.  A special altar space can also be used for recharging.

Please be mindful that the sun can affect the color of certain gemstones, as such it isn't recommended to utilize sunlight for recharging.
